Travancore KM#74/Travancore-Cochin KM#42
Travancore KM#74 is the 2 chuckrams court fee stamp, orange-brown in colour. Travancore-Cochin KM#42 refers to the "T.-C./1 ANNA" surcharge in black. ND#1 shows a "STATE / OF / MADRAS" (3 lines) overprint handstamped in violet. The violet "STATE OF MADRAS." handstamp shown in ND#2 is all on 1 line bordered by two lines above and two lines below the lettering. ND#3-5 show a black "STATE OF MADRAS", most likely typographed, on one line with no borders; the difference between these is the underlying KM#74 on which the perforations are 11 for ND#3, 12 for ND#4, and 12½ for ND#5. |

Travancore KM#101/Travancore-Cochin KM#3
Travancore KM#101 is a ½ rupee court fee stamp in green. The "TRAVANCORE- / COCHIN" (2 lines) overprint in black is KM#3. The only known Nagercoil District overprint on this stamp is ND#17, showing "STATE OF / MADRAS" (2 lines) in black. Unfortunately, the punch cancel has almost totally obliterated the Madras overprint. However, enough remains to identify it as the 3rd setting (see Madras Overprints section above). |

Travancore-Cochin KM#91
A large set of Nagercoil District overprints occurs on KM#91, a green ½ rupee court fee stamp. ND#18 illustrates an error or printing flaw of the 2-line "STATE OF / MADRAS" overprint (3rd setting)-"F" for "E" in the word "STATE". It is uncertain whether this is truly an "F" or a damaged "E". ND#19-21 all show the violet handstamped "STATE OF MADRAS." in one line with horizontal lines above and below. The difference between these three is the underlying KM#91, which is perf 11 for ND#19, perf 12 for ND#20, and perf 12½ for ND#21.
The remaining overprints in this set—ND#22-33—illustrate three settings of the two-line "STATE OF / MADRAS" overprint (see Madras Overprints section above) on four perforation varieties of the KM#91 stamp, as follows:
